North Canton homeowners expect a fence that still looks straight after five winters, not just five months. That takes a reliable fence contractor in North Canton, OH, who sets posts deep and plans for the ground underneath. Silver Leaf Contracting has completed more than 3,600 exterior projects over 15 years across Northeast Ohio. We serve North Canton and the surrounding Stark County communities, including Canton, Jackson Township, and Hartville.
Our process does not change from job to job. We size post depth and concrete footings to the soil and slope at your property. We line up every panel and set gate hardware to last, not just to look sharp on install day. A written 25-year labor warranty backs every fence installation in North Canton, OH, plus manufacturer coverage on materials. That standard is what keeps your fence plumb through Ohio’s freeze-thaw seasons.
The Standard Silver Leaf Contracting Uses on Every Fence Job in North Canton
Here is what sets us apart:
- A 25-Year Labor Warranty in Writing: Every project comes backed by a 25-year labor warranty, documented and signed before work begins. If workmanship causes a problem down the road, you are covered without having to make a case for it.
- A Price Match Guarantee: Our Price Assurance Guarantee means the company will match a comparable competitor’s price on the same scope of work. You get quality materials and honest numbers without having to choose between the two.
- Financing Options Available: Payment plans are available for homeowners who want to move forward without waiting until the savings are in the bank. A fence that keeps your yard secure and your kids and pets contained is worth doing now, not later.
- Clean Job Sites, Every Time: We use Equipter and Catch-All debris-removal equipment and smart tarps to protect your property during our work. Your yard, landscaping, and driveway get treated with the same care as the fence we are building for you.
- Clear Communication from Estimate to Completion: Your project team keeps you informed at every stage, not just when something changes. You always know what is happening, what it costs, and when the crew will be on site.
Fencing Services in North Canton, Ohio
Homeowners want a trusted fence company in North Canton, OH, that shows up prepared and builds it once. We carry the same disciplined process into every service we offer.
Residential Fence Installation
A fence is only as good as what holds it in the ground, which is why our crews, as experienced fence builders in North Canton, OH, set posts below the frost line on concrete footings sized for the load. We check every panel for plumb and spacing before any hardware goes on.
- Wood Fence Installation: Our wood fence installation pairs pressure-treated posts with cedar panels and reinforced gate framing. A moisture-resistant seal helps it last through wet seasons and sharp temperature swings.
- Vinyl Fence Installation: We install full-privacy and semi-privacy vinyl on reinforced supports with UV-stable material. It resists fading, moisture, and insects with very little upkeep.
- Post Anchoring and Structural Alignment: We set deep posts on concrete footings with tight spacing and reinforced gates. That foundation keeps the fence level as the ground shifts season to season.
Residential Fence Replacement
Replacing a fence the right way means starting from the ground, not the panels. We pull failing posts, check the footings, and reset the perimeter with reinforced anchoring. The result is a fence replacement built to outlast the original.
- Wood Fence Replacement: We remove rotting or leaning wood, posts and footings included, then rebuild from bare ground. Pressure-treated posts, cedar panels, and reinforced gates go in at the proper depth.
- Vinyl Fence Replacement: We trade cracked or faded vinyl for reinforced post systems that handle moisture and shifting soil. You choose full-privacy or semi-privacy layouts.
- Privacy Fence Replacement: We rebuild solid-panel runs with wind-rated bracing, reinforced latches, and secure hinges. Post-stabilization restores a tight, private boundary.
Additional Services
Our company handles a full range of exterior work for North Canton homeowners and businesses beyond fencing.
- Residential Roofing: We install, repair, and replace asphalt shingles, metal, and natural slate using Owens Corning and CertainTeed products. A 25-year labor warranty backs the work.
- Commercial Roofing: We install, repair, and replace EPDM membrane roofing for multi-family, HOA, retail, church, and light industrial buildings. These roofs last 25 to 30 years when we install them correctly.
- Residential Siding: We install, repair, and replace vinyl and fiber cement siding from CertainTeed, Alside, and James Hardie. Proper moisture barriers and manufacturer-spec fasteners go in on every job.
- Residential Gutters: We form aluminum gutters on-site to fit your exact roofline. We size slope and capacity for Northeast Ohio’s heavy rain seasons.
- Residential Windows: We install and replace ProVia and Alside windows with proper flashing and insulation. A weather-tight seal keeps every opening performing through temperature swings.
- Residential Doors: We inspect the full rough opening before any exterior door goes in. That step catches framing problems before the new unit lands.
- Decks and Outdoor Living Structures: We build custom composite and wood decks, pergolas, and covered structures. TimberTech, AZEK, and pressure-treated lumber go into a design shaped around your property.
- Emergency Services: We respond to storm damage with fast containment and detailed documentation. That paperwork supports your insurance claim.

Check Out Our Work in North Canton and Surrounding Communities
We work across North Canton and the Stark County communities nearby, including Canton, Jackson Township, and Hartville. The ground changes from one part of town to the next, and our crews plan for that.
Established neighborhoods near the center of North Canton often carry wood fences patched over many seasons. Posts rot at the ground line and pull loose from footings that were never set deep enough. We take those perimeters down and rebuild from solid ground.
Lots toward the West Branch of the Nimishillen Creek sit on lower, sometimes wetter ground. Footing depth and drainage planning carry extra weight on that kind of property. That care is what keeps a fence plumb instead of leaning after one hard winter.
Newer subdivisions on the edges of town bring first-time installs on larger lots. Vinyl privacy and reinforced gates lead the requests in those areas. Our crews know this part of Stark County and what homeowners want around their yards today.
